- We have a wide variety of furniture and home decor items which may differ on the day that you might come in. Each day there are pick-ups and we do have 18,000 square feet full of items. It is best to come in and see for yourself. We do not take any dishes, crystal, collectibles, electronics, appliances, baby furniture or other sundry items.

- When the guys deliver or pickup my furniture, could they make an extra move while they are here?
- We are unable to move furniture around in customers homes because of insurance and time restrictions.

- Do you charge GST?
- Yes. Government regulations require this, as we are providing a service.

- Will the Consignment Gallery take anything?
- No. We reserve the right to decline what we see as not sellable. We pride ourselves on selling like new items that have been cleaned, polished and are not chipped or broken. All pieces are subject to in-store viewing and receiving. A team will look at your item in the store, under store lights to check for quality and cleanliness. We reserve the option of refusing to consign items.

- Are all of your items consigned?
- Yes. We do consign some items from show homes, furniture/home shows, stores closing down, and factory discounts. You will know these by the price tag as it says 'New Treasures.'

- What if I change my mind about consigning?
- You are not locked into a contract. You are able to pick up your items at any time with 24-hour notice, or we could deliver them to you at our delivery cost of minimum $85.

- How does consignment work?
- Small items may be brought into the store, Monday through Friday.
- If you have larger items we will have one of our viewers contact you for an appointment to view your items. At that time, they will discuss pricing with you and if you decide to consign with us we will arrange for the items to be picked up and brought to the store.

- The fees involved include:
- $20 for someone to come and view the items.
- Pick-up of the items in Calgary is $85 minimum. This is taken off of your account when the items sell.
- As a consignor, you will receive 50% of the selling price on items over $100 and 40% on items selling under $100.

- Do I need an appointment to consign items?
- Yes. For in-home viewing. It is recommended that you phone ahead if you are bringing items to the store; just to let us know which day you plan on coming.

- Who sets the price?
- Our viewing and/or receiving personnel will determine prices with consignors agreement. Any information that you have regarding original cost or age would be helpful for us to determine the cost.

- Can I bring the $25 viewing fee into the store?
- No. Please give $25 to our viewers when they come to your home.

- When and how do consignors get paid?
- Payments over $20 are issued and mailed on the 15th of the month, for sales made in the preceding month.

- Could I pick up my consignor cheque at the store?
- Yes, when you have spoken to our Administrator before 12 noon on the 15th of the month

- What if my items do not sell?
- Items are reduced in price by 10% at 30, 60, and 90 days. After at least 90 days, items are reduced to half price
- After that time, if your items have not sold, we will need to discuss alternatives:
- Can items be separated if things are a set?
- Would you prefer to donate the items?
- Or have them returned to you?
- Most items do sell within 3 months.

- Do you charge to deliver back unsold items?
- Yes. In order to return items, we need to cover the costs of truck and labour.
